Plug-Ins
TACCS™ is deployed using client specific plug-ins that customize and dynamically extend the framework of TACCS™ as required to satisfy specific user requirements. To date, plug-ins have been created to support typical requirements for users in the following sectors:
Defense

The Knowledge Display and Aggregation System (KDAS) plug-in is deployed by the Department of Defense at the Pentagon. Developed under the auspices of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Homeland Defense and America’s Security Affairs, the technology embodied in this plug-in has been made available on a case-by-case basis to organizations that play a vital role in national security. Examples of companies that have been granted access to KDAS technology include Amtrak, Port Fourchon, Louisiana, and the Arizona Fusion Center.
Emergency Management

The Integrated Situational Awareness Visualization Environment (ISAVE)plug-in is deployed at the Federal Emergency Management Agency National Capital Region. Used during the 2009 Presidential inauguration, this system incorporates highly sophisticated plume dispersion and agent-based evacuation models developed by the Naval Research Laboratory and Lockheed Martin Corporation, respectively.
Maritime Domain Awareness

Used by the Greater Lafourche Port Commission to coordinate state and local cleanup efforts following the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, TACCS-MDA offers a broad range of tools for port security. Capabilities include basic security inputs such as alarms and notification, and additional information required for full situational awareness such as damage impact projections, AIS feeds, along with a complete set of response planning tools.
Multi-Domain Intelligence

Initially deployed in the Arizona Fusion Center, TACCS-MDI incorporates specialized tools for information sharing between law enforcement agencies. These specialized data sharing protocols include compartmentized access to TACCS™ strategic and tactical data without compromising confidential source information.
